Their competition: Solutionreach, RevenueWell and Weave.

Our competition: the hours your staff spend calling to fill a last-minute cancellation, manually posting payments, and checking insurance one patient at a time.

A typical practice sees
What practices told us when they left Lighthouse 360 for NexHealth
Cancellations fill themselves. No one calls down the list.
On Lighthouse, a cancellation text went to everyone, and once the slot filled the rest were never told. The office manager said she could call patients faster than that. She moved to NexHealth to fill openings in real time.
Office manager, two-provider dental practice

Payments post to the ledger. Patient and insurance split on their own.
On Lighthouse, there was no way to take a payment, so the two-office practice had no online payments and mailed statements with postage. They signed with NexHealth to collect by text to pay.
Office manager, two-location dental practice

Forms write back to the chart. One system, not three.
On Lighthouse, patients swore they had filled out the forms and the office never received them. Miss one box and nothing came through. Patients got confused and called. The practice moved to NexHealth.
Front desk lead, dental practice

A local support team.
Practices missed the NexHealth team. NexHealth support is in Draper, Utah. And the onboarding team is in San Francisco, CA.

Who does the job: software, or your staff
Buying a reminder system means your staff does the rest of the job, after the reminder goes out.
The job
With NexHealth

With Lighthouse
Keeps your calendar full
With NexHealth
NexHealth, on its own
- Waitlist that fills cancellations on its own
- Online scheduling on your website, Google Maps and invisalign.com
- Tracks which bookings came from where
With Lighthouse
Your staff, by hand
When a patient cancels, Lighthouse texts a list to call the office. It cannot filter by provider, the rest are not told when the slot fills, and staff still call down a paper list.
Gets patients ready before they walk in: forms done, insurance checked, card on file
With NexHealth
NexHealth, on its own
- Custom forms that sync to the patient chart
- Reads the insurance card from a photo
- Texts the patient when their insurance ID is wrong or expired
- Collects a card on file at booking or in the forms
With Lighthouse
Your staff, by hand
Forms are a recent add-on. Most practices still use paper or a second forms vendor. Insurance is not verified. No card on file.
Collects your balances
With NexHealth
NexHealth, on its own
- Posts every payment to the ledger
- Works out the patient portion vs insurance on its own
- Text to pay, email, terminal and online portal
- Patient statements
- Surcharging
With Lighthouse
Your staff, by hand
Lighthouse sends a payment reminder. Collecting, posting, the patient vs insurance split, statements and the terminal are a separate processor and your staff.
Writes it all back to your practice management system
With NexHealth
NexHealth, on its own
Every feature works with your practice management system, because the connection is ours and not a third party's.
With Lighthouse
Your staff, by hand
Lighthouse reads your system every 10 to 30 minutes. On Eaglesoft, canceled visits keep getting reminders, confirmations do not write back, and one mass text wiped an ASAP list.
Gets you live
With NexHealth
An onboarding manager, with you
A person in San Francisco installs the sync and sets up your reminders, forms and online booking. 7 days from signed to live.
With Lighthouse
Your staff, with help articles
No onboarding manager on their site. A resources site and a phone number.
Picks up when you call
With NexHealth
A person in Draper, Utah
40 seconds to reach a person by phone.
With Lighthouse
Your staff, left to their own
Phone or email, weekdays. No rep is assigned to your account, calls go unreturned, and when it goes down you work by hand. One office could not log in for a week.
A person in Draper picks up your call in 40 seconds. A person in San Francisco gets you live in 7 days.
Lighthouse 360: weekday phone and email. No one assigned to your account.

Questions practices ask us
Who owns Lighthouse 360?
Henry Schein One. It is the software joint venture of Henry Schein and Internet Brands, and it bought Lighthouse 360 from Web.com in March 2019. Henry Schein One also makes Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend and Demandforce. Henry Schein got a new CEO in March 2026 and replaced its executive committee in August 2026.
Is Lighthouse 360 the same as Lighthouse 360+?
Lighthouse 360+ is the version launched in September 2023. It added online scheduling, digital forms, a phone add-on and payment reminders. It is still a reminder system first. Practices still use a separate forms vendor and a separate payment processor alongside it.
What does Lighthouse 360 cost, and is there a contract?
There is no price on their site. Practices pay $250 to $450 a month, often as a line inside a Dentrix contract. Many are on 1 to 3 year terms with a fee to leave early, and one practice owed $440 a month until its term ran out.
Is Lighthouse 360 part of my Dentrix bill?
Often, yes. Henry Schein One sells it in a bundle with Dentrix, eClaims and the practice website. Dropping Lighthouse alone does not lower the Dentrix bill and can cost you the claims discount. Some waited out the contract or left the bundle entirely.
Does Lighthouse 360 work with my practice management system?
Henry Schein One says Lighthouse 360+ works with any practice management system. It reads your system every 10 minutes. Forms write back on Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend and some others. Sync problems are common, and one practice needed a stopgap because its Dentrix version and Lighthouse 360 did not work together.
Is Lighthouse 360 dental only?
Yes. Lighthouse 360 is built for dental offices. NexHealth serves dental and medical practices on the same platform, with the same sync, forms, scheduling and payments.
Who owns NexHealth?
Its founders, backed by Silicon Valley investors. The roadmap comes from what practices ask for, and new product updates ship most weeks: 880+ releases in the past five years.
How do I switch from Lighthouse to NexHealth?
A NexHealth person installs the sync, sets up your reminders, forms and online booking, and walks your front desk through it. 7 days from signed to first feature live.
Does NexHealth work with my practice management system?
15 systems, dental and medical, cloud and on premise: Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Denticon, Curve, Cloud9, Dolphin, eClinicalWorks, athenahealth, NextGen, ModMed and more. The full list is at nexhealth.com/integrations.
Is NexHealth for medical practices too?
Yes. 19 specialties: dental, orthodontics, primary care, dermatology, physical therapy and more.
