Introducing the NexHealth Executive Team
Five new leaders join NexHealth to guide its next stage of growth.
NexHealth is the only platform built for all three sides of healthcare — practices, patients, and the developers who build for them. Today, we're announcing the executive team that will take it to the next stage.
"NexHealth's mission is to accelerate innovation in healthcare. From day one we've followed a simple three-step plan. First, win practices and patients with our patient experience product. Second, use that wedge to launch Synchronizer as infrastructure for developers. Third, connect doctors, patients, and developers on one platform. Today, 89 million patients receive part of their care through NexHealth practices, hundreds of developers build on our platform, and nearly 20,000 practices across 19 specialties run on NexHealth. Step three starts now, and it requires leaders who have operated at scale, think in first principles, and put patients and practices first. That's exactly the team we've built, and I couldn't be more confident in where we're headed."
Rahmi Marasli, Head of Engineering
Rahmi is an engineering leader with a track record of building large-scale systems at some of the most technically demanding companies in the world. Before joining NexHealth, he spent three years at Databricks leading the engineering transformation that helped scale the business from ~$300M to $3B in ARR, and nearly 15 years at Google building AI/ML platforms that handled tens of billions of real-time inferences per second.
Rahmi was drawn to NexHealth by the depth of the technical challenge — and the scale of what direct EHR connectivity makes possible. As he put it, "Fixing healthcare is the challenge of our generation: how could we make healthcare accessible and affordable for everybody in the US? NexHealth is in a unique position to reshape this industry by creating an open and modern ecosystem to accelerate innovation in the space."
As Head of Engineering, Rahmi leads the team building NexHealth's core platform — from the EHR connectivity layer to the developer-facing APIs that power health-tech builders across the ecosystem.
Xiaolin Gong, Chief Operating Officer
Xiaolin is an operator who has scaled the strategy and systems behind some of the fastest-growing cybersecurity companies. Prior to NexHealth, she spent six years at Coalition, helping guide the company through 40x revenue growth. Earlier in her career, she led Cloudflare's expansion into APAC during a period of hypergrowth.
As COO, Xiaolin owns the operational infrastructure that will allow NexHealth to scale reliably — from go-to-market execution to the internal systems that support a growing team serving tens of thousands of customers.
When asked why she joined NexHealth: “For decades, healthcare has been held back by legacy infrastructure — something we’ve all experienced firsthand. What drew me to NexHealth was our ambitious vision: accelerating innovation from all angles by providing developers the infrastructure to build, practices the tools to operate efficiently, and patients the modern connected experience they deserve. The opportunity to improve care for hundreds of millions of people — and help build a new category in healthcare — doesn't come around often.”
Mike Albo, SVP of Revenue
Mike is a revenue leader who has spent his career building sales organizations through the moments that matter most — when early-stage momentum has to become a repeatable, scalable motion. He joins NexHealth from Justworks, where he spent over a decade growing the sales organization and serving on the senior leadership team through multiple phases of scale.
Mike was drawn to NexHealth by a rare combination of a proven product in a massive market that still runs on broken infrastructure. As he put it, “I've spent my career working with revenue organizations turning early momentum into a repeatable, scalable motion, and that's exactly where NexHealth is. What makes this one different is that the product earns its place: in most sales and account management roles you're closing the gap between what a product promises and what it delivers, but here practices feel the difference immediately. My job is to get it into the hands of everyone who needs it and build on those experiences."
As SVP of Revenue, Mike leads NexHealth's full revenue function — building the sales organization and the go-to-market motion that brings the platform to the practices that need it most.
Jessie Babiarz, Chief Marketing Officer
Jessie is a marketing leader with deep experience scaling SaaS businesses through inflection points. Before joining NexHealth, she served as SVP of Marketing and Growth at RSAC, and before that spent nearly six years at Udemy leading a 40+ person global marketing organization through its IPO — owning pricing strategy, lifecycle, product marketing, and consumer business performance.
As CMO, Jessie will lead NexHealth's marketing function — defining how NexHealth tells its story, reaches providers and developers, and converts a market that has largely accepted broken workflows as the norm. In Jessie’s words, "The thing that drew me in was how customer-obsessed this company is. Building directly for the customer, with a product that delivers, means I get to market something I truly believe in. That's every marketer's dream."
Kevin Yao, Chief Financial Officer
Kevin is a finance leader who has spent his career building the financial infrastructure behind high-growth SaaS businesses. He joins NexHealth from Clari, where he spent over six years rising to CFO, as the company scaled into a leading AI revenue platform in the market. Before Clari, he held a senior finance role at MuleSoft through its acquisition by Salesforce.
Kevin was drawn to NexHealth by the strength of the business model and the scale of the opportunity ahead. As he shared, "I've always enjoyed joining companies at inflection points. NexHealth is at a unique point in its journey. The company has strong product-market fit, multiple paths for growth, and an opportunity to become foundational infrastructure for healthcare. I wanted to help build that next chapter.” As CFO, Kevin owns NexHealth's financial strategy and operations, bringing the rigor and infrastructure to support the company's next phase of growth.
Step three starts now. This is the team built to get there.
