We’ve introduced Kiosk mode for our iPad app, allowing patients to check themselves in for their appointments–reducing lines in the waiting room and allowing your front desk staff to have more meaningful conversations instead of just dealing with logistics. For Dentrix, Dentrix Enterprise, OpenDental, and Eaglesoft the Kiosk check-in will check the patient in in the actual EHR itself. For all other EHRs, Kiosk mode will allow the patient to check-in to NexHealth and then it will display any outstanding forms they need to complete.

Non-patients in Dentrix are now essentially treated the same as patients in NexHealth – they’re searchable, can receive forms and communications, and their information syncs back to Dentrix.

You can now view and change an appointment’s status from the Status dropdown on the NexHealth Home page. The statuses match the status in the EHR, and changing them will also update the EHR.

You can now export over 120 different data fields right from the Analytics section, allowing you to analyze NexHealth data in new ways, including in the BI tools of your choice.

The patient profile now includes a full list of the patient’s forms, as well as their preferred name in large text with their "legal name" below (previously only available when you clicked into the details)–making it easy for you to view the most relevant information at a glance.
