How do I add a patient's preferred name in NexHealth?

Offices can add a patient's preferred name directly in their NexHealth profile.

This preferred name will be used as the PATIENTFIRSTNAME and PATIENTNAME SmartCommands in Templates and Campaigns.

To add a preferred name, follow these steps:

  1. Find the patient in the Patients tab in NexHealth
  2. Click the pencil button next to the patient name
  3. Add the patient's preferred name
  4. Click the green checkmark to save
